Immaculate interior, some small rust patches showing on bodywork..... Recent new rear brake callipers, pads and discs.....This is my partners car and has been mostly SORNed and kept on the drive for over a year due to family circumstances..... She was intending to go back to using it but hip issues mean she can't get comfortable in it hence the sale..... My car was written of this year so I put it back on the road and used until buying a new car.....The fault is in the DCC system and was non-existent when the car was taken off the road but when using it again the nearside rear shock absorber had become noisy.... These have the electronic shock absorbers that control the firmness of the ride..... I fitted a new non-genuine shock absorber which cured the noise but caused the DCC control switch to flash indicating a fault and although it will drive for a mile or two in comfort mode without the fault light flashing it soon starts to flash and then seems to default to the firm sport mode..... A code reader shows a sporadic fault with the shock absorber but also faults with the level control sensors which are also part of the DCC..... The sensors are cheap to replace but need VAG software to set up. I have considered just replacing all of the Shock absorbers with the non-DCC types as a possible cheap solution but I don't have access to VAG software and we don't want to spend any more on the car so selling as is. Next MOT due 24/03/2025, White, 3 owners, £3,200
