Selling my Ford C Max due to getting an electric car from working in the NHS. Please understand this needs a couple of repairs, which I don't have time to complete so selling as a far lower price than I was going to. Engine light been on since last Friday and Connors & Sons garage have indicated it needs a new turbo which they could do for 600 or source my own and it'd be cheaper. So currently the engine ticks over fine, drives but can't manage more than 30 mph and has little power. Also needs a new front light. Only recently passed its MOT in November with one advisory- so doesn't need another one for nearly a year- the turbo problem reared its ugly head a week or so later typically.I've drive this car for 3 years and it has been excellent and a part of the family. We've been to London, Scotland, Disneyland Paris- all over the place in it. It has the scrapes and marks you'd expect of a car of this age.If someone knows what they're doing there's a good few hundred pounds profit potentially in this or a bargain to be had if you want and repair and keep. If this turbo issue hadnt have happened I'd have asked for 2k. But with my new electric car I haven't got time to go back and forth to the garage and pay money upfront when I no longer need it.
