100% Honest Private Sale - 12 Months MOT, Partial Service History, Private reg from owner #4, Gen Reason for Sale: Inherited car from Bro In Law who suffered back injury, cannot get in and out, I've barely driven 500 miles since owning. Previous History at 2100 '05, 6715 Aug '05, 15351 '06, (mazda Services), 2 receipts for non mazda services in '07 and '08, Mazda Service @34,533 '09, Then Gap in servicing receipts for owners 3 and 4 - so can't claim. Recent MOT in Nov 24 Showed Sills and Wheel arches were completely rotten - I spent 770 GBP to have welding professionally done (Full receipt) - now absolutely no welding issues. 11.5 months full MOT to 11/25. No idea about soft top condition, comes with fully colour matched hard top, don't know how to put soft top up - has previously had replacement soft top (receipt INCL). New battery in September as sat for approx 12 months. Few very light chips around body work (approx 3 of 2-3mm, 1 slightly larger see photo), Alloys have slight kerbing, slight coating flaking, interior pretend wood panel surround on door speakers both sides have a crack from sunlight damage, drivers seat has a rub mark or slight tear in RHS. Aftermarket bluetooth stereo. Car itself drives like a dream. I used only E5 (The higher octane one) + one can of engine cleaner (SEAFOAM) through which has drastically improved MPG and running. No leaks internally from hard top, pulls like a dream, approx 300 miles per tank full. I am selling as I have camper van, classic merc, chevy town car and have just bought a classic Honda Goldwing which has more luggage space then the MX5!!, but I am selling a genuinely good condition car which will serve as a very reliable every day drive for years to come with no engine or rusting issues, or will make an excellent base car for a collector enthusiast to start from to get up to concourse standards with some easy work. I will negotiate on the price a little but not giving it away, the car does owe me some money for what I gave Bro In Law plus putting it through full MOT required welding to make it solid reliable car, so no tyre thumpers or time-wasters please, only genuine drivers potential buyers.
