Here is my BMW E39 525d 2.5 Manual. I have owned this for just over 2 years as a long distance cruiser for when we go abroad/holiday! It has never once let me down, when I first purchased it I had the whole suspension at the front refurbished apart from the shocks, springs + anti roll bar. Just before my purchase it had a brand new clutch and flywheel fitted costing just under a thousand pound. Around 1,000 miles ago we done a full service including the breather which sits inside the head. Also had a small remap done just to liven it up a little bit along with a EGR delete, pulls like a train after 70 and well over 50mpg when driving at constant 65. Body work for a e39 is relatively clean, some signs of corrosion (usual e39 places) however structurally there is not one single bit of rust. Passenger side front wheel has some curb marks along with the passenger rear, drivers side pretty curb free. Original radio will be refitted to the car prior to sale. All jacking points clean never been welded, whole underside is lovely! Truthfully it could do with a set of glow plugs now we are in winter and if your really picky 2x new shock absorbers at the front. Overall for a 200k example it's lovely, mot has been done in October, this is probably the cheapest example which is not rotten and in this body condition + mechanically sound. Tried to be as honest as I can be, I am not scared to get in this car and do a 1500 mile round trip, please don't offend me or waste my time, it's my personal car which I am reluctantly selling.
