Had this car for 9 years... has served us well. It's done a few miles and It'd probably do that many again. (According to the mechanic its the best engine bmw have made) Not in a bad condition for it's age, no major dents or scratches. Interior is good, seats are all in good condition, but after 266000 miles the leather has worn off the gear stick. The front window wiper has a nut and bolt holding it on, temporary repair that I done around 5 years ago, think I have the part to repair properly in the loft which will come with the car if I can find it, never bothered fitting as the nut and bolt works fine. The rear window wiper doesn't work at all. Had an air bad light come on a few years ago (common fault) had a sensor put under the passenger seat to get the light to go off for the mot, now the car thinks there's always someone sitting in it and the seat belt has to be plugged in all the time to stop it beeping at you. The remote locking has worked perfectly until the last month or 2 and now sometimes works, sometimes have to put the key in the door, this may be due to the car not really being used and the battery in the keys charge while driving, I don't know. Other than that it all works fine, air con ice cold new battery couple of months ago. Just had an MOT expires 4/12/25. Been serviced by a friend who is a bmw specialist, probably have receipts for parts buy no stamps in the book. Good run around/family car/work horse, whatever you want it to be. Reason for selling needed a car with 7 seats..... and the Mrs wanted an upgrade, if it was my choice I'd be keeping it.
