Much cared for and regularly serviced, this M-Sport X3 has been a rural 20 mile commuter for a primary school teacher for the last eight years, as well as taking us on numerous family holidays to Europe. We planned to run it for a further 3-5 years, but have unexpectedly come by some money and are upgrading to a newer similar X3. In preparation for the next few years we recently had changed the dual mass flywheel, clutch , transmission oil, transfer box oil, and diff oil. These were all done previously too, around 55K, even though BMW suggests the oils are lifetime. There are two keys that work fine, a removable tow bar, spare number plate for trailer or bike rack, the tyres are all good, and it's in regular use until sold so the mileage will creep a little. Castro Edge Titanium engine oil has always been used, with more frequent changes than necessary. The MOT test is due in February and we will book in the test if it's not been bought before then. We don't expect any MOT test surprises. It's mechanically very good, and the body and interior are in fair condition for its age and mileage. Lots of paperwork and history. Samples in the photos.
