The actuator pin is getting stuck on the turbo, BMW specialist says can possibly fix it by lubricating it, driving it, then repeating to get the lubricant where it needs to go. But if this doesn't work, it will need a new turbo fitting. We've had the DPF sent away for cleaning before the garage realised it was the actuator, so that's all clear. Otherwise ran well until this, nice car. Good condition inside and out. Full leather interior. Tinted rear windows. Tow bar. Some wear and tear with age as expected. Full service history - just had an oil service. It does also need the front and rear brakes doing as well which we were going to do before the MOT. We're selling because it's our only car and with a toddler in tow we don't want to be faffing with lubricating the actuator, but also don't want to jump to replacing the turbo if it doesn't need it.
