Recently polished headlights and an all round wash and vacuum to keep the car relatively clean. The car itself drives superbly, if you're looking at Fabias it's safe to assume you went reliability and affordability with a touch of sophistication. This here 1.4 Fabia can offer that. Achieving 35-55mpg for city and urban driving. This car does not let you down, it hasn't let me down the previous 2 times I've owned a Fabia and this one hasn't either. The tyres are all in good nick, the brakes very well, thanks to the disc brakes all round. The engine is punchy and sounds exactly as SKODA intended, the 1.4 engine is only 100bhp but the horses are delivered adequately across the system. The car will (performance wise) benefit from a sports anti roll bar, lowering springs, an induction kit and general upkeep of the engine (fluids, sensors, hoses, electrical points). The car is really perfect for first time drivers, being lower on the insurance rating too I'm only paying 500 a year - 27yo 5y ncb. Again. I can't sing enough praises for this car.
