Description

*SEE VEHICLE FEATURES FOR THE LIST OF MODIFICATIONS* A very beloved car that has unfortunately fallen on hard times. I haven't had the money to keep it running, so, unfortunately, I have had to keep it in the garage for the last year or so. I am also moving country, so am looking for an expedited sale. First off, since I've owned the car it's been well looked after by a fantastic local garage (JAPEX), the same garage that has completed most, if not all, the vehicles modifications. Now the elephant in the room. If you've seen the pictures you'll know what I'm talking about. My best guess is that there is an interior seal that needs replacing somewhere, and condensation constantly gets into the cabin, which never allowed the interior to fully dry out (no matter how much I tried) which has allowed mould in, a lot of mould. The interior itself is fine, it just needs this issue rectifying and the cabin drying out. I'm not going to lie, it looks like a big job, but whether you strip it out and replace it, or work on it back to full health, I promise the car is good enough in every other way to reward you for your faith. Apart from the aforementioned elephant, there are a couple different issues that need addressing that I haven't got around to doing over the years, such as the right-hand side of the drivers seat fraying, bodywork/alloy wheel imperfections and an AC system that only blows cold. Also I should explain the why I had to take the photos with the car still in its garage; The battery is dead, so no moving. The garage is on public land so (because of the SORN and no MOT), no parking. Finally, the garage was very smartly built on a hill, so no pushing. I know this listing has been talking about mostly the bad points, and frankly if you've made it this far I am truly impressed, I just wanted to be completely honest with you about the state the car is in. However, all-in-all, I really believe this could be a perfect project car base, especially for (what I would probably do) a completely stripped out track car/race car. The car is quick, nimble, responsive and a genuine joy to drive. I have loved every moment of owning and driving this car, and I'm sure you would too, whatever you decide to turn it into. Next MOT due 31/08/2024, Part service history, Black, 4 owners, £999
