Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCi (56 Plate) - Quick Fixer-Upper - Selling my trusty diesel manual Mondeo - a solid car with plenty of life left in it for someone willing to spend a bit of time and money to get it through its MOT. The Good: Engine runs beautifully - no knocks, rattles, or issues, and it drives great. Straightforward fixes: Needs brakes/discs, a couple of tyres, brake pipes, and a bulb replacing. Low-cost repairs: The excessive smoke noted at MOT is likely down to dirty filters or a dirty fuel tank - it only happens when the fuel runs low, so a fuel tank cleaner could do the trick. Exhaust: There's a tiny hole at the end of the exhaust pipe (after the back box), but it doesn't affect performance or sound, easy to patch up. So,Just 500 for a car that, with a bit of work, could easily sell for 1600 or more. If you've got the time and know-how, this is a bargain.It's currently SORN, so it's ready to be trailered or taken on for a quick project.
