I have owned this car since July 2004 so know its full history. When purchased it had been driven less than 10k. I have had many years of trouble free motoring since that time and the car is now approaching 77.5k. My average mileage has always been quite low. Note: The current total will increase approx 30 miles/week. The car was fitted from factory with a few extras such as cruise control, electric sunroof and glass, a 5" screen navigation and radio system with a 5 CD boot changer. It has working heated full black leather recaro seats. In its lifetime it has been serviced by VW dealers/specialists although in latter years this has been done by a local reputable garage with VW enthusiasts. I have partial paperwork and receipts for the latter years. The car was categorised in 2015 for panel damage to the passenger side doors and centre pillar. I kept the car and was able to source the exact same colour replacements. The car was repaired and returned to road.(See pic's). I have driven over 25k since. Issues: Since the Cat C event the passenger front door intermittently either opens or not via the key. It has a mind of its own. Failing this it can be opened via the inside as normal. Maybe a simple fix for somebody with more know how. The ashtray sliding cover has come away. Finally there are also two corner panels where I have since been hit and the other party driven away. O/S front corner and O/S rear corner. These need a smart repair. The alloys are as fitted from factory and probably need some form of repair too. All have signs of curbing/scuff marks. The overall exterior is mostly fine but for a car of its age I'd say these are to be expected but I am sure there are perhaps better examples if being truthful. The car was never garaged but always looked after. All the electronics are working inc. the heated seats. They are very comfy. I am sure this car will give somebody many years of happy trouble free motoring like it has given me. The car has had no modifications. It has good boot space and rear seats can be folded down to increase the space. There are no issues/lights (on the dashboard) at all with the engine. It drives very well. I have stacks of paperwork for the car. At the last MOT I had the battery replaced, new front wipers, new macpherson struts fitted. I'll be looking to have both front tyres changed before sale. Anytime its failed an MOT the repair has been undertaken. The genuine reason for sale is I now have use of two other cars. Next MOT due 26/11/2025, Full service history, Silver, 2 owners, £2,200
