Description

This is my highly modified and very fast Mk4 R32 that i have owned for the last fifteen years with various different turbos and engine layout. This a custom built car for how i wanted it with many custom made parts on, you will never see another car like this. The car was made to be road legal and go fast, it is not a show car. This car makes 950 bhp on Tesco 99 and 1200 bhp on E40. Full listing of the main modifications i can remember are as follows. Engine : INA steel baffled sump, modified oil pick up pipe, VW Golf 2.8 crankshaft that has been super finished, DP rods and R30 pistons using APR 625+ rod bolts, fire ringed engine block, Racing custom parts engine girdle, NG Motorsports ported head with golf balling, Supertech valves, springs, retainers, custom schrick 298/298 camshafts, solid lifters, VVT mech removed. Engine and gearbox is controlled by the latest Syec ECU with flexy fuel and mapped by Darin Dichiara. The gearbox is a modified DQ500 with uprated clutch packs, SMF plus custom driveshafts and engine mounts. FMIC is a huge custom made Pro Alloy item with custom made slim line rad pack and SPAL slime line fans plus custom FMIC pipe work. Turbo is a twin scroll Garrett G 42-1450 with custom twin scroll side winder, manifold GFB EX50 waste gate with Camcoat ceramic using a coating leading to twin three inch down pipes and custom four inch exhaust. Fuelling is done by two Welbro Hellcat 525LPH fuel pumps in a Radium performance surge tank with two fuel lines fitted either end of the uprated fuel rail with single return in the middle feeding six 2000cc Bosch injectors. Aquamist six direct port water methanol kit, controller has died so currently not working. Custom P Motorsport inlet manifold which has been rotated 180 degree from usual design so feeds from the left with a larger Bosch 82mm DBW throttle body fitted. Custom made dash using a 7" Ecumaster ADU Race Dash as the display plus has the Aquamist methanol controller. Seats are Motamec seats bolted to the floor correct for me. Carbon door cards with Focal speakers front and rear. OMP steering wheel with carbon flappy paddles. 18" OZ Ultraleggera alloys with new Continental Sport Contact 7 225/40/18 tyres. Rear brakes are PB 4 Pot calipers with 330x28mm discs using Padgid RS19 pads. Fronts are K Sport 8 pot monobloc calipers with 356mm x 32mm 2 piece fixed rotors using Padgid RS19 pads.
