Up for sale here is my beloved Clio 172 Cup in Mondial Blue which I'm reluctantly selling due to an upcoming move overseas. I've owned it for around two and half years as a weekend / fun car. It's more or less all original aside Eibach Sportline lowering springs. She starts, runs and drives beautifully, pulls well in all gears with the characteristic frenzied energy above 4500rpm as the variable valve timing kicks in. Brakes stop the car strongly as they should. The interior is in excellent condition for age and the sticky interior plastics have been sorted, though the steering wheel could use a retrim. Highlights of recent work carried out includes: alloy wheel refurb in May 2022, Brake fluid change June 2022, Cambelt / Aux belt / waterpump done September 2022 (with proof), new Valeo clutch September 2022, April 2023 4x new Magnetti Marelli injectors, plus annual oil services in my ownership despite the low miles covered. Shod on four matching Continental SportContact 3 tyres dated 2022 with loads of tread left. Invoices also suggest the car had 4x Renaultsport shock absorbers fitted in 2015. Bodywork and chassis are rust free aside a tiny bit of bubbling behind the fuel filler cap (common trouble spot on these cars, this has however remained stable and is very minor). The MOT expires soon, the car will have an oil service and fresh MOT prior to sale. Large box file full of service history.
