So here i have my beloved special Sportline for sale. My job requires me to have a 4x4 now. After looking and looking the van turned up local to me just over 2 years ago.. She came with little history so as i always do i put her in for a full inspection (VRT Slough, Google them). One of the first jobs was a cracked rear spring (the Originals are prone to this). so i gave her to a suspension specialist (BMV in Bognor regis). she now handles amazingly on Bilstein comfort coil overs. Next was a big bill.(september 23)brakes and discs all round, new exhaust, dsg box major service on top of a full service aswell. then this August was mot, service and the all important cam belt and pump.last week Onyx wheels slough refurbished all four wheels and put 2 new tyres on the front.(backs are like new still). i then yesterday replaced the side running bars as the Originals had corroded. some brand new wheel nut covers today and thats it!!!! She is truly a fine van that i have spoilt rotten. the guy before me bought her new and fitted vw sportline seat covers. all the time both him and me have owned her the seats have been covered, they are brand new..happy to answer any questions you have .and will try and add paperwork pictures asap.
