The Android Auto amd apple car play works via a short USB cabled connection in the central cupboard and wirelessly charges your phone allowing usage of google maps, waze, spotify, just park and google assistant that reads your messages over the speaker if you instruct it and will type a response back for whatsapp/sms by transcribing what you say in return.
