We have just taken this Renault Megane GT Line in part exchange against a Ford Focus as the customer was upgrading to a newer car. We have given the Megane a short road test and it seemed to drive ok. It started first time from cold, the 108 BHP engine sounded fine and it pulled through all 6 gears well with no clunks or crunches from the gearbox or clutch. The car handled the roads ok too with no apparent knocks from the suspension. All electrics seemed to work as they should when tested and the spec is great for an 11 year old car, coming with plenty of features including a reverse camera with sensors, USB/aux ports, navigation and climate control. The overall condition inside and out is decent - bear in mind it has done over 155k miles so it has a few signs of wear/tear in areas but it looks quite presentable! The car has been well-looked after and comes with a comprehensive history with evidence of servicing at 18k, 36k, 55k, 80k, 100k, 123k, 137k, 142k and 149k miles. There is a stamp in the book for a timing belt kit in Feb 2020 at 123k and an invoice for x4 new injectors, x2 drop links, a CV boot clip and a track rod end at 150k miles costing over £1100!! All in all, it's a decent car that will do someone a turn. We have the V5, it has a few months Mot, is HPi clear, comes with one remote key and is on site ready to go. To be crystal clear, this is an older, high mileage vehicle so please be realistic when viewing.
