LAND ROVER DEFENDER 90 HARDTOP 2.4L (PUMA) KESWICK GREEN
I've owned the defender for the past 6 years where its had numerous works and upgrades to get in fantastic condition. It is always garaged and used occasionally as a weekend toy. The truck is not sat in the British weather all year and so doesn't have rust or corrosion issues. The truck has also had a 3 stage polish and ceramic coating to make sure the fabulous Keswick green paint stays in top condition.
This is not your everyday Defender that's been used as a workhorse and needs lots of work doing. Its my pride and joy and is meticulously looked after. Below is a list of the works, maintenance and substantial upgrades.
This truck has numerous benefits including the more modern dash/interior, the renowned Puma engine and the lower tax bracket.
The truck has a full service history, detailed below:
2012 - 15k miles
2013 - 34k miles
2015 - 48k miles
2016 - 59k miles
2017 - 72k miles
2018 - 82k miles
2019 - 85k miles
2022 - 87k miles (not stamped, invoice present)
2024 - 90k miles
Exterior upgrades:
- 18inch sawtooth wheels with almost new BF Goodrich tyres.
- ORE rear wheel carrier with matching sawtooth spare.
- NAS rear step, fully powder coated.
- Side steps, fully powered coated.
- Black billet hinge conversion to all doors and wing mirrors. (these are not cheap hinges and replace the OEM versions that typically rust)
- Tow bar.
- Full led conversion for headlight, fog and rear lights.
- Bonnet has been sound proofed.
- Billet fuel cap.
Interior upgrades:
- Fully silent coated throughout..
- The rear has also been insulated and could be carpeted / clad as the new owner wishes.
- Bulkhead removal bar installed to increase front seat legroom.
- Momo steering wheel.
- Electric windows and central locking installed, fully operational and on key fob.
- Leather centre cubby box.
- Twisted rear matt set.
- Security pedal box included.
- Upgraded speakers, including a small bass sub
Suspension upgrades:
- 50mm lowered with Alive comfort springs and new Koni shocks. This reduces the harsh ride and greatly improves the usability.
- New front and rear Torsion bars.
- Poly bushed suspension all round.
I have a box of numerous bits and pieces with the removed upgraded bits where they could (in theory) be put back on, I'm not entirely sure why anyone would though.
This really is a fabulous example of a defender with all the hardwork done, as you'll see it's been properly looked after. Not Cat N
