We have done about 40,000 miles in time we have bought it and it's fair to say we have never had any issues at all, never a warning light apart from fuel, an amazing car. I work for an oil company in Manchester so I get all the oil I need which I use to look after the cars very frequently. The oil on this car has been changed every year regardless of mileage using Valvoline Synpower fully syn. Last service at 93k, It has a couple from BMW then 8 stamps in the book, have also changed the X Drive transfer box oil at 60k (this should be done at 100k) and both differentials have been done too. Just had new rear discs and pads less than 1000 miles ago with the fronts done last year about 5000 ago, being the M plus brakes they are expensive to do but won't need doing for a long time, says 80k on computer but that's down to my Mrs driving style, fair to say she takes it very easy. Brake fluid also changed last year, callipers removed and greased up. I have had all the wheels re-diamond cut last year and put the car through paint correction as it had a couple of marks on it, also put some new Pirelli P Zeros on the front the rear has Conti winters on about half worn. This car is brilliant in the snow and ice! We live on a big hill so we need the 4wd but this is very good. Also had the tracking done a couple of years ago on the Hunter 4 wheel alignment. We have put a deposit down on an X3 to a private seller, I want to sell this privately to the right person please don't low ball me, we have spent a fortune on this car to maintain it well.
