This Porsche 993 Cabriolet feels very precise and tight to drive. The engine is very smooth, sounds very sweet and pulls cleanly with good power in all gears, making this car very responsive and a real joy to drive. The air conditioning condenser replaced in 2024, as was the windscreen, and in 2022 the brakes were overhauled and a new soft top was fitted. The car was 'Waxoyled' in 2007 and again in 2008, and the result is that this is a completely rust free car still to this day. There were some stone chips on the nose and on the flared sections of the rear quarters, and the door edges were chipped. For this reason, because it is completely rust free and mechanically it feels so good and tight, we felt it was well worth taking the big step of making this car Exceptional. We took the decision to have the complete car taken back to bare metal and repainted by Ross Packard, who is widely known to be one of, if not the best vehicle painters in the South of England. The car now stands as a credit to his craftsmanship with every panel gleaming like a pool of black ink, and finished with new rubber seals. The Finish and Presentation is truly Exceptional. It currently sits on a set of 17" Fuchs Style Wheels in Gold and Black as mentioned above, and we have the original 17" Cup II Alloy Wheels in Silver as an option if preferred. With a lovely documented service history too, we couldn't possibly hope to duplicate this car in this condition, and we only have this one car.
