Description
They don't make them like they used to... welcome to the sale of my Audi A8 LWB with the legendary 4.2 TDI V8, quartz grey metallic paint with 'silk beige' leather interior.
Truly fantastic car and will be genuinely sorry to see the car go after enjoying it for 4 years as the 3rd owner from new. Cruises beautifully on the motorway with superb power delivery from that V8 when you put your foot down!
Specified from new with over 9k of extras including power door closing (soft close), Audi assist with pre-sense plus, twin pane glass, rear blinds, comfort seats with memory, full LED headlights with auto hi beam, air suspension, solar sunroof, heated steering wheel and Bose sound system.
The car is in excellent condition for its age, as you can see from the photos bodywork is very tidy but there is the occasional stone chip or mark here and there. Wheels are generally excellent but again a couple of minor marks. Interior is in fantastic condition and a lovely place to be on longer journeys! Acres of legroom due to being the LWB model. Carpets are in great condition as have used rubber mats for the past 4 years.
A recent full engine service has been carried out in December 24 and two new front tyres in January 25. Rears have plenty of tread.
Full service history - Audi main dealer up until my ownership where I have used VAG specialists (I prefer knowing who works on the car!)
Only know faults are the seat memory on the drivers side has stopped working (all still fully adjustable but doesn't revert to the preset memory when pressed on the door panel). A warning light very occasionally pops up for the rear differential which I knew about when I bought the car and had fully investigated - this is merely a faulty sensor on the sports diff (also fitted to S and RS models) and as such is not a genuine problem but a coding 'bug'. Finally the front offside suspension has a very very slow leak which means if the car is left for several days it will sink slightly. However when you start the car up it levels out immediately and drives perfectly. If you use the car regularly you will not even notice this.
I have been as honest as possible in my description, a very genuine and well cared for example (my 3rd A8) and will be sorry to see it go.
