Description
This is one of 3 known E46 Tourings in the UK finished in BMW Individual Messing Metallic pearl, this being the only SE trim car known. Inside, the car features a full BMW Individual interior including Olive Extended Nappa Leather, Olive carpets (with original velour floor mats) and Olive Quilted maple wood. I'm led to believe this is a 1/1 spec worldwide. Other options include heated seats (with electric lumbar adjustment), TPMS system, fully functioning electric sunroof, rear parking sensors and the incredibly rare BMW MiniDisc radio (with the 6 CD Changer in the boot).
In my time with the car l've completed a mini restoration, which included:
-both front wings replaced
-restored the leather
-new genuine rocker cover and gasket
-new DISA unit
-new genuine radiator, expansion tank and pipe work along with full flush etc.
-all service items (oil, filter, plugs etc)
-new OSF anti roll bar link
-new genuine centre console
-new side repeater housings and bullbs
-new genuine crank vent pipes
-various bolts/ seals/ clips
-handbrake gaiter
-Genuine parcel shelf
-genuine replacement Olive wood trim for the most discoloured sections
-various random minor bits
The paperwork that comes with the car before my time is extensive too, even going all the way back to the original order forms. This history shows a relatively recent timing chain, waterpump, thermostat, hedgehog and much more work. Paperwork includes MOTs, receipts, tax discs, recalls, a work done booklet and an original Haynes manual among other bits. The car drives spot on. Also has 2 remote locking keys plus original accessories like the warning triangle and torch.
The bodywork could do with some attention- minor bubbling on the rear arches and C pillar, along with various random marks around the car although the underside of the car has nothing to note rust or damage wise. The sills and body behind the plastic trim are also like new and there's nothing structural rust wise ether. Also, the TPMS and PDC system requires new sensors, though I'd be happy to assist with sorting prior to purchase depending on agreed price and I've already sourced the parts to sort PDC. The front grilles also seem a little loose. The car has also been fully inspected by Sytner Nottingham prior to being put on sale.
I'm selling as a change in my life means I need something a bit different. I intended to keep this one long term and will be sad to see it go! I'm happy to provide more photos and answer any questions.
