I have owned this beautiful Lexus for nearly 7 years, rather than keep it in storage I have kept it running by using it sparingly and have covered less than 3,000 miles since purchase. Registered in 2002, this is an original Mark One model, identified by the distinctive round chrome alloy wheel covers; the SC430 is an interesting part of automotive history, with a radical design that offered something very different when released in 2001, and when they finished production in 2010 they were the last production car in the world to be manufactured with a radio cassette player. These cars gave the customer as close to everything you could have and want of a vehicle at the time and are a perfect mix between a sports car and a luxury tourer, they have a fantastic array of specification and are beautiful to drive, the 4.3 V8 engine is silky smooth and powerful whilst being surprisingly economical; it was designed in a way to capture all the qualities of the best cars on offer at the time and to pull customers away from the Mercedes SL it competed with, and it certainly was a great alternative with an engine capable of covering huge mileages. I purchased the car with approximately 38,000 genuine miles by one owner from new, accompanied at the time with a service history consisting of 12 services, 6 by the Lexus main dealer and 6 by the owner's local garage which included a cambelt and water pump replacement not long before I purchased it at 36,982 miles. Since then it's had a further 4 services whilst with me to complete a full-service history documenting 16 services, and in addition, I have a file documenting my years of ownership. Now on 40,600 genuine miles, it was originally supplied by Lexus Derby and finished in Kashmir Pearl paint with Wisconsin Tan leather trim, it suits the colour combination really well and the condition is beautiful, it's very stylish and a joy to drive with the roof up or down.
