Description
1995 SN95 5.0L V8 High Output Ford Mustang GT - American Import (1995/2001).
Runs and drives perfectly, and just passed MOT (December 2025). I've only used it for shows or weekend drives in my 2 and a half years of ownership, and it hasn't missed a beat. Everything works as it should, and both the body and interior are in very good condition. (The alloys could do with a refurb mind you.) There are no leaks, or knocks and rattles.
The roof is electric, and newly fitted just prior to my ownership, and it is completely water tight.
The owner previous to me also used it for shows and make-a-wish charity events, so it's been extremely well looked after. The work done under my ownership is as follows:-
Full front bumper respray
Custom made pre-cat back exhaust with titanium effect tips. (This is road legal, and has passed 2 MOT's) but it also means it sounds as a Mustang should under load, whilst not being too much of a drone or too loud at idle. (These are very quiet stock.) The car will also come with the original silencers incase you'd like to re-fit them.
It's had a full set of remotely controlled under-glow lights fitted for shows. (Which you don't have to use, or can easily be removed.)
New red LED backlights for instruments (The standard ones are not very bright)
Brand new battery
New window washer jets ...And that's all it's needed.
The car has x4 Toyo Proxy tires with lots of tread left. They are however just starting to show signs of age, but passed MOT without advisory.
It has lots of paperwork, including evidence to show a new gearbox fitted prior to import that supports driveshaft disconnect. (For towing behind a motorhome.) And many many other receipts and documents. I'm fairly sure that the original dealer receipt from America is in there somewhere too! The initial registration year is 1995, and it was imported to the UK in 2001.
As mentioned, everything works. All lights, electric roof, windows, blowers, stereo etc, and it drives and stops as it should. And even though it's a 5.0L V8, it's somehow more economical than my daily i30N, and cheaper to insure!
The only things currently wrong is there's a small piece of plastic trim below the front bumper that needs clipping back in. (I struggle to get down onto the floor due to a medical condition.) And as mentioned, the alloys could do with being refurbished for visual reasons, but they don't leak.
There has been no expense spared on this car in my or previous ownerships.
