Description

This is my 2009 Land Cruiser 120 Invincible 1KD-FTV 5spd Auto with 103,983 miles, almost full service history (1 year skipped due to very low usage) and MOT until 27/11/2025. I am selling as I am no longer able to maintain three vehicles. I bought the Land Cruiser in 2019. It has served me very well and I haven't had any problems with it, besides new engine mounts and front brake calipers, which were replaced under warranty. There was one previous owner. I serviced the vehicle in November. It has had transmission services by the previous owner (who did far more miles in it than me) and the penultimate service was a major service, including required transmission oils. For its year, it's in great condition underneath with regard to rust. The car was treated with Dinitrol in 2019, but it would probably now be wise to reapply Fluid Film etc in the areas where the Dinitrol has started to flake off. Highlights - Injector seals replaced when the recall was issued. No problems here - Cambelt changed at 81,923 mi (2019) - No issues with engine or gearbox - New genuine front brake calipers in 2019 - Aftermarket transmission cooler fitted by previous owner. Prevents the common fault of the radiator leaking internally and letting water into the gearbox - Never used for any off roading by me, and I don't believe the previous owner did either. No damage relating to this - Lower road tax version. Something to do with different diff oil - Injectors checked and working well - No problems with air suspension or active shocks - No problems with stereo/climate control system - A/C works perfectly - Very good cosmetic condition inside and out - All functions work - Non-smoking, no pets. Previous owner had a dog but there's no evidence of this - MOT until 27/11/2025. Please view the MOT history online Other Notes - Towbar was fitted, but now removed. Whatever steel it was made from seemed to rust extremely quickly and I felt it was in need of replacement. The chassis around the towbar is still fine. I left the genuine Toyota electrics intact, and they are cable tied in a safe place. - The alternator charges at a low voltage. This is a "feature" (emissions) of the 120s, but kills your battery. Consequently, I've performed the "diode mod" which is frequently done to boost the charging voltage. It's worked very well, but is easily reversible if you wish. This is a very genuine 2-owner car. If you're looking for a good example, it's definitely worth coming to have a look.
