2 previous owners - of which 1 lady owner for the past 6 years and I've enjoyed owning it. The car has been serviced and maintained to a high standard having a mechanic in the family. Has a near full service history. It's nippy, light and handles well yet still has that solid German quality feel to it. The 1.4 TDI is the most economical model variant, so it benefits from zero tax and cheap insurance. It returns 70+ mpg with ease - hence why I've had it so long as it costs so little to run. As you can see the car wants for nothing, brand new MOT on it with no advisories and it's ready for its new owner. It has flew through all previous MOTs, it's a really solid car and with its new clutch and service it feels good as new. The car has a few age related marks (see cons list below) but overall is in really good condition - inside and out. Major service at 92,013 miles Oil and filter Air filter Pros: - Extremely economical and cheap to run - Free road tax - Quality feeling car with SE trim which is superior to the standard model - Infotainment touch screen system which provides a cracking quality sound - Great condition interior for age - Air conditioning - Electric windows - Alloy wheels in good condition for age - Reliable and solid - Vibrant paintwork in good quality overall - New clutch and flywheel done in April - New cambelt done approx. 2 years ago Cons: - Having converted from a dual mass flywheel to a single mass last year (as VW no longer supply a dual mass) it isn't the quietest when sat on idle, the single mass doesn't dampen the engine harmonics as good as a dual mass but this has never fazed me. I have been told I can "have the idle raised" which would eradicate the noise produced but being purely cosmetic it's really a minor and never really bothered me since the new clutch, just a note for the new owner if they wanted to do it but it isn't necessary. - Paint work at the back right side has a scuff (see photos) from where I lightly scraped a wall at 5mph rolling in neutral (thinking I was in 1st gear!). Again purely cosmetic so haven't ever had chance to sort it - but this is reflected in the price. A great quality car which I'm sad to let go given how reliable it's been for me, however over 6 years two kids have come along and now it's time for something bigger for my growing family.
