Description

The time has come to sell my beloved car. It is a 2006 Mercedes Clk 280 with 231 bhp,7g automatic gearbox, part service history, Mot July 2025. I owned the car for 3 and a half years now and the only thing that needed done was the tcm on the gearbox which was done at an automatic gearbox specialist and never had any problems since. It is a car that I searched for about 2 years time in which I owned another clk. I went all the way up to Scotland to buy it. Roof is in perfect working condition, It had a rewaterproof done last year. It might need to have it done again. Since I owned the car it had fitted k&n air filters, done 2 services on it, installed h&r ultra low coilovers and It runs on 19" Cls 55 staggered set wheels 8.5j front and 9.5j rear. It has the designo interior, lovely colour combination with matt wooden trims, heating and cooling seats, parking sensor, Bluetooth, aux cable, navigation, wind deflector, rear subwoofer between the seats, ac works perfectly. It comes with a wind deflector. The lacquer comes off a bit in a few places on the bonnet, but nothing that bothered me immensely. I thought about respraying the bonnet but never got the chance to actually get it done. The rest of the body it's in perfect condition. A small damage on the roof on the rear passenger side by the rear windscreen, but doesn't affect anything, the material it comes out on a small area after the top was down. I did a bit a bit of research and it seems like some small elastic thing was supposed to bring that material back in and it can be DIY but again never got the chance as it's nothing major and doesn't leak or anything. I always pushed back the material after I put the top back up and that was it. The car it's currently in sorn. The only reason why I'm selling it is that I bought another car as the family it's getting bigger and a convertible it's not the most practical car for us right now. I would love to see it going to someone who can appreciate it at it's most as it's a lovely car, sounds great with the top down and it's great to drive it with the coilovers. It did put many smiles on my face for a good few years and it feels sad to se it going. Hopefully it will make someone feel the same as I did.
