Well maintained mx-5 with tasteful mods that show the car's true potential.
Road legal so can be tested.
Regular maintenance incl spark plugs and clutch (600) changed last year. Dif and transmision oil changed 10k mileas ago. Selling due ot a new house and a job that comes with company car.
Mods on less then 20k miles:
MeisterR CRD coil overs
White Line anti rollbars
8' Slipstream Wheels with stud conversion
Good Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 6 tyers
Alignment and suspension geometry done in Roddisons (if you know, you know)
Breaded steel lines,
Roddisons Pads and disks done last year.
Ram Air intake
Full race exhaust system (inc. headers). Not too loud, just perfect. Incl back box and res so noise and emission restrictions are in check.
Remap to 180bhp (from 160).
The bad points:
-small cosmetic imperfections
-bushings end of life but Roddisons advice to replace if changing to slicks/semislicks for track use.
-surface corrosion underneath, but described as one of the better ones
-Rattle shelf behind the seats (probably clips). I keep a jacket, for the weight of it, that fixes and there is if get cold.
