So here's a pretty honest appraisal of my car, hopefully to reduce time wasted. I've priced it lower than recommended so I'd be looking for somewhere close to the advertised price. This is a 6 speed manual and returns great MPG! I've owned it for around 5 years, it let me down once last year with a failed fuel injector which was replaced by the AA. If its left for a few days, it will start but needs a few revs to get it going (who doesn't!!), after which its fine. I did have to jump start it once after the cold snap (which I don't think is unusual) Every body panel has some kind of mark or scratch.. blimey, its 14 years old! So don't be like the local car buying giant (WBAC) and expect immaculate! The boot handle got broken by an ambitious Baboon on a day trip to a safari park (true story).. the boot button still works fine and this didn't affect the MOT. There is a dent/ripple in the rear drivers door after a coming together with my wheelie bin. Electrically, everything works. The radio is a bit naff and seems to work best on Radio 4.. which is handy as I'm getting old! It passed the MOT last November with an advisory for a screw in the tire and brake pads/discs getting low (but still okay). This work was NOT done. The Air Con was also re-gassed last November and works well. New clutch and flywheel was done in 2022. Misc. receipts for tires and other bits and bobs. There are NO error or engine lights, one of the pics is with the engine running. MOT until November, taxed until April. Please review the pictures very carefully and let me know if you want more details. Please also try and remember you are looking at a 14 year old car, its served me well but has been a workhorse and kids taxi first and foremost, a treasured family heirloom it is not! This is a sold as seen car, no warranty, no promises and no money back.. your welcome to come and view it. If you have your license and insurance certificate you can even drive it! Very happy for your mechanic to look too. I'm open to reasonable banter and some back and forth but not silly suggestions. Once you pay and drive away, that's it.. Sorry to spell it out but I want to be clear. We are not entering a negotiation after the fact. You buy it, its yours. One final thing, I'll only accept a bank transfer for the sale and you can only drive it away when that shows up in my bank! I really don't want a rucksack full of cash.
