Description
I bought the car from its original owner in 2015. It's practical, safe and fast - offering almost all of the performance of a similar-era RS4 for a fraction of the cost. And it's a manual.
Three years ago I retired and moved from London to East Suffolk. Almost all of my long-distance travel in now by rail so I've gone electric and bought a BMW i3S, and the Audi has to make room.
The car is 4.2l V8 with 115,000 miles on the clock. It comes with a full history, 18 stamps across two service books and a Lever Arch file full of paperwork. The timing chains were replaced in 2021 (89,000 miles) by marque specialists Dialynx Performance in Swindon and whilst the engine was out we also replaced the starter motor; clutch; flywheel; water pump and exhaust (Milltek cat-back).
Other work carried out during my ownership includes: new wireless CarPlay/Android Auto infortainment system (original Symphony unit will be supplied with the car); two new front wings; new headliner; reverse camera; replacement propshaft.
The car is silver with black Recaros and carbon fibre trim; has very rare 3 x rear blinds; Bose hifi; electric front seats; folding mirrors; centre arm rest; cruise; S4 door-plates; 12v power in luggage area; ULEZ compliant.
There are some things that I should point out: the rear camera picture is blurry; there's a scrape on the front valence (see pic); the alloys are in good nick but not perfect; the rear wiper isn't working; the second key isn't working.
All in all a well-sorted manual V8 fast estate that has put a smile on my face every time I've driven it, and I will be sad to see it go. Thanks for your time.
