My son has just secured a job in the USA and has asked me to sell his much loved 2005 Porsche 997.1 Carrera S 3.8L in Seal Grey. It has 209,300 miles on the clock which I know is high but the car has been maintained well and is still driving beautifully. When he purchased the car in 2018 he had a full check done by Porsche Brooklands and regarding the IMS bearing issue on 996s and very early 997s this has the uprated IMS. It is MOT's until October 2025. During the six years of his ownership he has had it regularly serviced and other work done whenever needed and has probably spent well over 10k on keeping the car properly maintained. He has used Mobile Porsche Specialists for the bulk of the work and they have given excellent service. I have the receipts for all the work. The bodywork is generally good but not perfect and some areas (eg front bumper) could do with a respray. The car has the 997 Turbo wheels and the tyres (Michelin Pilot Sport 4s) are all good with the 2 rear being only a couple of months old. It has a Sony Apple Carplay headunit installed which also has a wireless adapter giving convenient satnav from an iphone in your pocket. It had a private plate which has just been reverted to the original plate so it may not show yet on MOT history. At the asking price it must be possibly the cheapest 997 in the country - and a great entry into Porsche 911 motoring. Please email me if interested.
