whether you are a collector, slightly eccentric or just fancy wafting around in something that puts a smile on your face then this purpose built London Taxi International TXii Gold model could well be just the vehicle you've been looking for. And yes, the mileage is genuine, clocking in at just under 1750 miles from new which equates to a distance covered of just 80 miles per year !! The vehicle was never registered as a taxi but instead was one of 2 identical Cabs specified and owned by Sultan Qaboos of Oman as part of his vast vehicle collection in London. First registered in 2003 it was a the top of the range model at the time with air-conditioning front and rear , walnut dash, chrome grill and door handles, intercom system etc. At further expense a centre console was fitted in the rear to house a fully remote , high quality Alpine sound system and an occasional fold down seat in the front. The rear compartment also boasts a fold-down wheelchair access ramp. The 2.4 litre Ford Diesel engine still looks and sounds like new (look at the under the bonnet photos !). The vehicle has spent the majority of its life in a heated garage and the condition is therefore outstanding. there are lots of invoices pertaining to annual health checks with intermittent servicing to keep everything running as it should as well as old MOT certificates. The last couple of collector owners have also kept the Taxi in dry storage, therefore the underside is just as clean as the top half. I'm very confident that you won't find another TXii in this condition or with such minimal mileage.
