Description

Owned for 8 years. She's been a brilliant, solid car. Honestly sad to see her go, but I found a cls350 with everything I was hoping for so I jumped at the chance!! Although this is an 'elegance' trim, i put the 'sport' wheels on. Stripped and re-powder coated soon after I bought her. There's a few blemishes starting to show on the wheels now, but nothing much. Loads of service history, silver key is currently inactive, but may just be battery needed. The panoramic sunroof was slow and stubborn, so I was advised to pull the fuse in case it got stuck open. I've never looked into it any further! Aircon was renewed last year... cabin heat exchanger valve was changed last year... new front Michelin tyres, midrange on rear. New headlamp enclosures fitted a few years ago. With very bright HID main beam kits. I've obeyed every service message. Whenever anyone in the trade talks to me about mileage, they always say as long as they're serviced, these engine will never stop! Built in kids booster seats were useful! Aftermarket android radio with touchscreen. (Original radio included in sale) V5 is currently showing my private reg which has now been reassigned... new v5 on its way. New near side rear spring cradle recently fitted... Detachable tow bar (never used it, but it's there!) On the recent service, I was told about a slight oil leak, but it only needs a top up every now and again. (In the photos, there's a trail of water, not oil!!!) New oem drivers seat base leather fitted because the old one had split. Vinyl wrap on the wooden bits. Slightly tired drivers arm rest and steering wheel leather. The engine is utterly brilliant, pulls really very well. Most MOT'S pick up on emissions, due to the usual diesel EGR build ups. When this happens, she'll start to stutter on hard acceleration. A bottle of diesel additive, tank of expensive diesel and a good blast of motorways clears this out every time. The only paint issue is a slight scuff on the nearside rear quarter. No rust showing anywhere. I've always cared for the paint, no swirl making car washes! She's been an awesome car, i've looked after her, tweaked bits over the years, I'm sure she'll carry on for plenty more! I've tried to cover everything, hopefully portraying how fond I am of this incredible car. I think the price is fair based on other examples.
