This fantastic looking MK1 1275cc Mini Cooper S is finished in its original Island Blue and Old English White Roof, it is a matching numbers car that comes with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate with a certified copy of a factory record showing the car was built in March 1967 and first registered in Bristol in February 1968 and the car is on an original number plate. This is one of the last MK1 Mini Coopers to be built in 1967 which was the last year of MK1 production before the MK11 uplift in late 1967. This is a great little car which I bought to keep but I now need the space, so reluctantly I have to let it go. I bought it from the previous owner who had restored the body to the original colour of Island Blue and Old English white the interior has been restored, and seats reupholstered to the original Dove Grey and Gold. I have had all the mechanical parts refurbished or rebuilt. The engine and gearbox have been rebuilt, new brake and clutch master cylinders fitted, driveshafts and universal joints, the front hydrolastic units have been overhaled, new brake compensator and servo, and converted to negative earth. The car has been fully restored to a high standard and is a standout example of its kind.
