Description
I bought the z3 late July 2023 on 76k and have looked after it extensively. All mileage has been M-way so no stress on the car at all. The engine pulls very well with no unwanted knocks/smoke/ticking. The clutch is also in good condition with the biting point not being really high up & not slipping in any gear.
The suspension is tight as it should be, handles much better with the new links + poly bushes. Both oil changes I've carried out have been at 9k & 8k intervals. Service history is part, with it missing a service by a few k miles. The previous owner did also replace the roof which is fair, although the rear window could do with some attention. The z3 also comes with its original tannoy cover & wind deflector + Taylor made roof cover
The body work is not bad at all for its age. Underneath, any surface rust on trailing arms has been treated & protected. The rear subframe has been sanded back & protected too. Only bit of rust I can find is on the drivers side sill at the back. A pair of sills can be bought from BMW for 350. (This is extremely common)
A common issues on z3's (mainly on the more powerful 2.8's & 3.0's) is the spot welds in the boot sinking. The spot welds have not sunk, neither corroded.
