Great little car. MOT valid until 14 April 2025. HPI clear. ULEZ free. Cheap Insurance. Owned over 2 years and over 2k spent on the car in my ownership. Has been a brilliant and reliable little runner. It has had the following done in my ownership: New radiator, new top mounts, new air filter, 3 oil changes, coolant flush, new coolant, new tie rod ends, new front brake lines, new NSR trailing arm, also have a new one for OSR not yet fitted as wasn't needed for MOT that would be included, wheels powdercoated, new springs (lowered 30mm all round) and rides really nice, 20mm wheel spacers all round, plug in OBD2 reader (included in sale), new rear brake pads, new spark plugs, new exhaust manifold, new NSR hub, new wheel nuts, rear brakes just serviced with new pads, clips, and pins, head up display so you have water temp reading, I have fitted a new used Recaro driver seat as the original one had a tear in the bolster, new front number plates as old one had delaminated, new battery. Tyres are good and plenty of tread. Interior original and very presentable. I got under the car recently and removed surface rust around the rear of the car and painted any treated metal and applied Dinitrol. Bad points, it has always lost a bit of coolant and I have not been able to establish the cause and have just been topping it up every few hundred miles. These cars do suffer from failed head gaskets so I expect it needs that replacing but the engine runs really well despite this so have just carried on using it. There is a slight tapping noise from the engine which I think was from a sticky valve but I have not investigated any further. The heater does not blow much hot air. I removed the air con rad as it was leaking so it will need a new one. Clutch bite point is a little high but hasn't changed all the time I've had it. The rear tailgate has a dent and tailgate brake light doesn't work (prob cheapest to just find a used one and fit that). Typical paint scratches and chips for a car of this age but in general the paint is very presentable and could be made really tidy. Driver footwell has wear hole through the carpet. Exhaust needs re-welding at the front of the mid pipe as it broke at a weld and is currently held on with a temporary repair kit. These are getting rare now and look great on the road. Good little project car for someone.
