Description
For sale: surely one of the best-maintained examples of the rare Sportcross variant of the Lexus IS300. 3.0-litre straight-six engine, automatic gearbox, every luxury feature imaginable in 2004, and wears its 21 years extremely well. The small collection of interior and bodywork marks and small dents are to be expected of a car of this age and mileage. Immaculate it is not, and I've tried to show every mark, dent, and scratch, though the photos also show just how well cared-for this car has been. Owned by my parents for the last 8 years and 40,000 miles during which time no expense has been spared on maintenance. Comprehensive and fully-documented service history, alternating between their local garage and main Lexus dealer, with recent highlights being a GBP2,000 cam belt service and handbrake replacement, front ball joints, brake calipers, lower suspensions arms, and recent radiator and rear disks. Everything the car needed, it was given - with genuine Lexus parts, in most cases. With just a couple thousand miles on a brand-new set of Michelin CrossClimate 2s, as well as freshly refurbished and powder-coated wheels, and even brand-new wiper blades, locking wheel nuts, and battery (GBP200!) Bad points include a wedged rear-seat cupholder, and non-functional rear defroster, and CD changer that even Lexus recommended against investing in. Literally everything else works as though new - air conditioning, electric & heated seats, HID headlights - even the pop-up sat-nav system! The car recently completed a successful winter trip to Germany with no problems. Only selling because my parents have finally treated themselves to a newer Lexus. Taxed, but currently uninsured so test-drivers will need to organise their own temporary cover and provide cash up-front. Viewing highly recommended, more than happy to answer any questions via telephone or in person.
