For Sale: BMW 335i N54 Engine - Only 39,000 Miles One of the lowest mileage N54s around, with an extremely honest review. I purchased it directly from BMW around 6 years ago with ~20,000 miles, one previous owner, fully stock, and complete BMW service history. Since buying it in 2018, I've added 20,000 miles, maintained it meticulously, and completed various works myself alongside a trusted mechanic. Exterior Condition: The car is in great shape, but with a little investment, it could be one of the cleanest on the market. All panels are in excellent condition except for the front bumper (stone chips) and a scratch on the bonnet. The driver's wing mirror glass could use replacing. Around 500 spent on a bumper respray, bonnet repair, and mirror glass would make it exceptional. The wheels are immaculate, recently refurbished. Interior Condition: Really good condition with minor cosmetic touches needed. The driver's door handle has typical wear marks, the steering wheel is near perfect, and the seats are in great condition. The seatbelts retract slowly due to dirt/wearcleaning or replacing them (50 each) would fix this, though it never bothered me. Minor marks on the rear door cards from passengers. About 200 would cover new seatbelts, some plasti-dip spray, and fresh door cards if desired. Engine & Mechanical Work: Always run on premium fuel, serviced regularly by BMW (pre-purchase), myself, and a reputable garageno corners cut. MHD remap at a safe level, never abused. Driven gently, mainly motorway miles for the past 3 years. Index 12 injectors (replaced due to common leaks) New MOSFETs (common issue) Turbo wastegate upgraded (bushes, bearings, linkagesno rattle) Primary catless downpipes (passes MOT, reduces turbo back pressure) Upgraded metal charge pipe (plastic ones crack) New battery Upgraded intercooler (improves air temps) VANOS sensors (both replaced after one failed) New pads/discs + spare pads included Upgraded NGK spark plugs & N55 coils Michelin PS4s all around High quality front lip, skirts and spoiler. This car is a joy to drive and could be flawless with minor cosmetic investments. I've recently bought a 2024 Ford Transit Custom, so I rarely use the BMW (check MOT mileage for proof).
