After 10 years of ownership, I have decided to sell my Neo Green Mk1 MX-5 with a tan leather interior. It is a first generation (NA) 1997, 1.8 litre UK car. I am the second owner, the first being by Mum who purchased the car new from T.W. White & Sons in Bookham, Surrey. There are too many modifications to list but in summary: - Servicing: The car has been regularly serviced over my ownership and has been booked in for a full service prior to sale. This will include the cambelt and water pump. - Bodywork: Whilst the car was garaged in both my parents and my ownership, it is a UK car, and my parents lived down an unmade road. So, in February 2023 the car had both rear sills replaced with other preventative work. The work included rust converter being applied to any corrosion, seam sealing, and gravel guard. The underside of the car had anti corrosion primer applied, green paint, and then wax oil. Both front wings were also replaced. I have photos of the work that was completed. - Engine: In 2016 a Flyin Miata Level 1 Clutch kit was fitted along with an ME221 ECU. The clutch is rated for 318 ft/lb. In 2019, I decided to turbo the car and had a fully forged engine out build completed. This included Manley rods, Wiesco pistons, crank assembly balancing, ACL race series crankshaft main bearings, ACL race series connecting rod bearings, ARP main/head studs, Walbro 450lph high pressure fuel pump, boundary oil pump, Kraken T25 manifold, full 2.5" exhaust that has a Magniflow back box with removable sports catalytic convertor, Bosch EV14 640cc injectors, and oil cooler, and a brand new GT2560 Garrett Turbo. The engine was broken in on an engine dyno out of the car and mapped by Horsham Developments. The car now makes 260 BHP and 260 ft/lb of torque at the flywheel. - Interior: The original tan leather interior has been retained. I have added a lovely leather Nardi steering wheel, Alpine stereo, and Alpine door speakers. There are also two gauges. A wideband sensor and combined oil pressure/temperature gauge. - Other: Meister R Zeta coilovers, Wilwood Dynalite front brake kit, Torsen differential, all the suspension bushes were replaced for genuine Mazda items. Whilst the car is in great condition for its age there are some car park related dings on the doors and the roof is the original and could do with replacing. I am looking for 9,750 ONO.
