Description

Here is my beautiful 2001 Alfa Romeo GTV6. I've owned this for the last 2 1/2 years and it's been my daily driver for this time over which it's covered around 14000 happy miles. It was bought as a keeper, however we've acquired a dog since then and I'm reliably informed a GTV isn't a great dog carrier. Who knew eh? Since buying it we've toured western Scotland and Skye, and multiple trips to North Yorkshire and Norfolk. It's a fantastic and comfortable grand tourer, as long as you pack well, although the back seats are good for coats and the odd bag of it's just 2 of you. There's a history file at least an inch thick, along with all 4 keys (including the brown one and the valet). Both original meta alarm fobs work perfectly. The car had a new gearbox in 2011 when it received a Q2 diff as well, all documented in the extensive history file. It benefits from a full stainless system from the Cat back. 17 inch Teledials with Continental Sport Contacts all round, oldest 2022. New rear shocks/springs in my ownership along with front and rear disks, clutch and gearbox oil change. It's also had an Alfaholics short throw gear lever adapter fitted. Serviced every year with me. I've been fettling it along the way too, the windows now both drop properly on door opening (they didn't when I bought it, a right pain!). Also the centre cubby box now has padding on top, so much nicer for your elbow (no idea why Alfa didn't offer this), I have a non padded one I'll throw in if you want it. Sony FM/DAB/CD stereo fitted with new speakers throughout, Alpine fronts and JBL rears. Fully working electric aerial. Wooden steering wheel from an Alfa 166 fitted, really lifts the interior. MOT til 23/2/26 The paint is not great, numerous stone chips on the nose and a scuff on the offside bonnet (from a passing car, I keep it on the road as I don't have off-road parking). Really it needs a respray, that was the original plan, but it polishes up well as seem in the photos. I've loved dailying this quad cam 3.0l V6 for the last couple of years (never used around town only on runs where the engine warms up to temperature, I live in a small market town in Lincolnshire where everywhere is walkable, including work) but it's time to say goodbye. Payment via bank transfer, keys handed over once payment in my account. All relevant change of ownership will be completed on line by me. Car is available for viewing in LN11.
