Here is my VW Caddy Maxi long wheel base van which I have owned since July 2023. I bought the van with the intention of converting it to a day/camper van and as as you can see from the photos I have almost completed the project. My circumstances have since changed and I have decided not to proceed with the project, hence the reason for sale. I had the cambelt and water pump changed as soon as I bought the van. It comes with a full service history. The current mileage is 86,000 and I have only used it for small local commutes so have only added 8,000 miles since purchased 18 months ago. I have not had any problems with it and it drives well. The body work and interior are in excellent condition. It has an MOT until the end of July. It has been fully sound insulated, also thermally insulated using Diall recycled bottle insulation. I fitted an 18mm plywood floor and then a hard wearing vinyl floor on top. The overhead shelf above the driver has been extended to provide extra storage space. The 2 cabinets have been custom made and are both top opening, the front one can also be accessed from the offside rear door as you can see from the photo. The bed measures six feet by four feet when extended and can be used as a seat when housed. Storage space is also available underneath the bed. Both the cabinets and bed can be easily removed if you want to use the vehicle as a regular van. I had the van carpet lined by a family member who is in the trade. The electrics were fitted locally and include a split inverter, leisure battery, campsite hook up and 3 pin, 12v and usb sockets, see photos. There are 3 overhead lights. I have purchased 2 side door windows and they are included in the price should you want to fit them. They include all the gasket and glue.
