My daughter learned to drive in this car and used it to take her test today and passed. It is therefore suitable for anyone to learn or take their test in. Its high mileage but in very good condition mechanically. I have done some repairs myself over the past 4 years as an amateur mechanic as it was a project car. It was off the road in most of this time but the engine was regularly started and the car moved up and down the drive etc. I have put new coil springs on the front, new heating fan, repaired the resistor coil pack for the heating, I put new seat release levers but one is still broken, all tyres have good tread, new coolant expansion tank, brand new bosch spark plugs. The car drives very well for a high mileage and has a good service history would have helped it along its way. Cosmetically its ok and has a few scratches and small dents here and there as you would expect for its age. Due to its age I cannot offer any guarantees but inspections welcome. We have driven about 2000 miles in it since its MOT in October and it has been lovely smooth driving. The gear stick very occasionally gets slightly stiff but still changes without issue and again, it was good enough for my daughters test. An advisory on the MOT was underbody surface rust but should be ok for at least anohter couple of years I would have thought. Because of a lot of silly offers I will not go below the asking price. If it doesnt sell I will lower it in my own time. Thanks for reading.
