2002 BMW E46 330ci Clubsport 5 speed manual
2002 BMW Clubsport pre facelift in Estoril Blue with 5 speed manual
Mot'd till 25-06-25, mileage 122716 but still in use so will rise, 8 former keepers, all the original keys from factory 5 in total, it has a FSH as shown in pictures
I'm selling my Clubsport to fund an F80 M3, I bought this Clubsport from an elderly gentleman who kept it in a big farm shed for many years, the shed had modern tractors in it so wasn't a barn find or anything like that it was just kept there out the way and driven at an absolute minimum for quite a number of years as you'll see by the MOT history
After I purchased the car I had it down to my local garage with Scott at Alford Auto Station who carried out a substantial amount of preventative maintenance to the cars engine and gearbox as it had basically sat idle for a long time not doing many miles, as you can see by the pictures the total for this work was 2448.68, I also went to BMW John Clark and purchased a full MAF sensor back air intake boots and elbow as the old one had cracked and throwing up the usual dash lights so that's now all new and fresh and as of today there are no lights on dash (being a E46 this could change in about 5 minutes ) I do have a BMW OE idle control valve which I was going to put in but up to this point there's been no need as no lights in dash or running issues, car runs fantastically well, It drives straight and true and feels very tight , engine is very strong and pulls through the gears without hesitation as you'd expect from the 3.0 straight six, gearbox is working perfectly and has had a full service as per invoice.
When I bought the car the rear arches had the usual scabs forming so I took the car down to Lee Shirley engineering Aberdeen who cut the old rot out replacing with new metal, at the same time he carried out welding and repair work to the boot lid area around the number plate and also fabricated a fuel tank strap hanger mount as the old one had perished which is a very common fault as it happened to my old E46 330ci, this was a full exhaust and fuel tank drop so wasn't a quick job, the total for this work was 1350, Lee did spray over the work trying to match the paint but the blend isn't great and you can see where he's been working but it's not hugely noticeable but you can see it, this didn't bother me as further down the line I was going to get the paint sorted but the main thing is there's no rot there!
