This has been a great family car, we've had it since 2010 when it was purchased Approved Used from Polar Ford in Warrington. The mk2 focus 1.6 petrol is a remarkable machine, with many examples of this age and mileage still going strong. Selling now as we've decided to get an electric car to replace this. Serviced every year without fail and always had everything done that needed doing. All paperwork from last 17 years has been kept. It has done around 5k miles per year over the last few years. Recent items include: New battery 2023 Brake fluid 2023 Clutch 2023 Exhaust, ignition leads and coil 2022 Tyres have plenty of tread Everything works as it should, no faults. Air- con fully working. Plenty of material left on brake pads. MOT plus service has just been done in Jan, with some minors. One minor recommendation was to replace the osf cv boot, the garage quoted 85 to fix, i decided to leave that to the new owner to sort out. It's a small job that could be done yourself. The other advisory has been annual note of rust to suspension, which is normal for a car this age and does not need addressing. Cosmetically there are a few dents and scuffs at the corners and a couple of very small surface rust spots (less than 5mm) to the bonnet and roof. I include a touch up paint and laquer, I've not had the time to sort them. Look at the pictures for full details, I've tried to capture everything. Roof bars and brackets will also be included in the sale. I've priced this very competatively with similar examples on sale now. I think the full service history and only two owners speaks for itself, it's a very good buy for someone, and i hope it continues to be looked after as well as we have. Test drives welcome, as long as you are insured to drive other vehicles. It's currently taxed and insured but not being used.
