Sadly (for me!) it's time to sell my beloved Z4 coupe. - Owned for 11 years averaging little more than 3k/year in that time. - FSH up to now. Due an oil service (based on time rather than mileage) which can be discussed based on buyer's preference. - Fresh MoT with no advisories. - Mechanically, well looked after by BMW specialist, Adrian at Gilberts for BMW in Acton Town. She's never so much as hesitated to turn over on start up (even after months of sitting dormant through COVID!) - Brakes, suspension, water pump etc all replaced as necessary over the years (have receipts). - Externally in great condition (no rust) - though has some stone chips as expected for a car of her age. - Alloys structurally sound (no corrosion) but have lost some lacquer since their last refurb. - 4x Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics (non-RFT) with plenty of life left. For those browsing across models and brands, and undecided about the E86 Z4 Coupe: 261bhp coming out of a naturally aspirated, 3.0 litre, straight-6 N52 engine. Passing through a manual six-speed gearbox, and delivered to the rear wheels, all wrapped up in a body that still turns heads today. A true sports car setup, comparables of which have ceased production for years already. One of the last of a breed; no wonder these rare beauties frequently feature on list of future classics. I disagree with that; they're classics already. I believe the stats showed that they barely made 10,000 of these globally and less than 2,000 were sold in the UK (but don't worry - parts aplenty thanks to their cabriolet sibling). As the sun sets on the ICE, this is an ideal piece of motoring history for any enthusiast wanting some weekend fun, a track car, or a local daily. If I had the space to keep her I wouldn't be letting her go, but life moves on and my driving habits have changed. This little beauty deserves so much more than to grind out miles on the motorway, and I'll take comfort in seeing her go to someone that will love owning her as much as I have.
