Description
2007 Freelander 2 S TD4
133,889 miles
Mot until 06/04/2005
Let's get the bad points out of the way:
Handbrake will need sorting for MOT, currently leaving it in gear as it rolls.
Had a fight with a trolley bay and rear near side door took the brunt of it. This happened at about 125,000 miles and hasn't made a difference to the drive, operation and sealing of the door.
Passenger front window works but when rising won't stay up on automatic function and will need a gentle touch on button to stop it in place. Not a big issue, operates fine up and down otherwise.
This is a 2007 vehicle and has some surface rust around the arches, I have maintained this for the last 3 years and it hasn't gotten any worse.

Full service carried out in October 2023
Tow bar and electrics fitted in July 2023 and has only pulled a camping trailer 3 times
4 new tyres (TR652's) fitted in February 2024 at 118,373 miles. Plenty left on them, and very grippy in wet, snow and ice.
Fuel filler pipe replace in April 2024
Diagnostic check carried out in October 2024, Intercooler fault, pipe replaced. No other issues raised on diagnostic
Everything works as it should, electronically sound, 4 wheel drive, DSC, HDS all working, and put to test in recent snow and North Wales terrain. Hasn't struggled once and cruised up hill in snow no problem.
If you know what you are doing or are mechanically minded this would make a good, solid and reliable vehicle.
Would also be ideal project for green lanes with a little work should that take your fancy
Reasonably low mileage for age, I have been commuting 80 miles a day in this car for the last 8 months and it's never missed a beat. Getting about 40mpg motorway driving with Costco premium diesel. Frequently treated with redex
Starts first time on the button every time, in the recent cold weather and snow in January I gave the coils a few seconds to warm up and never an issue.
Private plate will be removed, original plate DU07 GOX
Located near Mold in North wales
