1993 British Open Classic Mini I purchased the car in January 2022 from the original owner having had the car for nearly 30 years! He purchased it as a wedding anniversary gift for his wife new from Rover. The car underwent a full restoration 2009-2013 by Woodbridge Classic cars at a cost of 24,500. The body is in excellent condition as is the interior. I have a lovely letter from the original owner detailing the car's early life as well as a number of invoices and receipts. Since purchasing the car I have had the full webasto roof completely replaced and a new headlining added which cost 1200. The car has been to Northampton Motorsport to have its twin SU Carbs tuned and now makes a healthy 70bhp which is plenty for fun! Ill be sad to see her go, its been a lovely ownership experience - everyone stops to talk to you about fond memories of Minis. Car is always garaged, never sees wet weather or salt. Based on its condition and mileage its one of the very best BOCs left. Ill give the car 12 month's MOT for the new owner upon agreed sale.
