Welcome to the highly reluctant sale of my 2008 Obsidian Black Mercedes-Benz CLS 320 CDI. In my 3-year ownership, the CLS has proved to be the perfect all-rounder, and has been a joy to own & drive. It's looked after me with its outstanding comfort, reliability & economy; all whilst looking fantastic & turning heads. In return, I've ensured that the car is properly maintained and regularly washed (properly). Both the interior and exterior of the car are in fantastic condition and show minimal signs of use. The wheels are presentable but could benefit from a refurb soon. Being a 2008 car, this CLS benefits from numerous design revisions which earlier C219s lacked - e.g. uprated headlight and LED taillight clusters; restyled wing mirrors; the gorgeous 3-spoke multifunctional leather steering wheel, and the sportier stainless steel slash-cut exhausts (which I have always kept clean and soot-free). The well-renowned OM642 3.0L V6 turbo diesel engine is one of the things that makes this car so special - its refined, robust and provides outstanding fuel-economy, and yet still provides particularly impressive performance for a large luxury coupe, which means you can really get a move-on with minimal effort should you require. Equally, the 7G-Tronic automatic gearbox, is smooth, refined; and makes for a truly effortless driving experience. Unfortunately, as the C219 CLS' have become more affordable, they often fall into the wrong type of ownership, but I can proudly say that my CLS is one of the lucky ones. As you can see, the car has been lovingly maintained and enthusiast-owned over the years. It has x11 services recorded to date, with the last one being at 106,832 miles. Comes complete with two keys, and a huge stack of invoices and old MOT certificates (a true sign of a properly looked after car). Recent work just in my ownership includes (but is not limited to): replacement fuel filter; front windscreen; brake discs (rear) & brake pads (front & rear) (270 GBP); both front control arms (150 GBP); both front control arm lower ball joints (400 GBP); front coil springs (180 GBP); x4 new premium branded tyres (450 GBP); Yuasa 5-year guarantee battery (245 GBP); air intake mass airflow sensor (90 GBP); radiator hose (45 GBP); and a brand new genuine Mercedes-spec Garrett Turbo, complete with oil feed, intake and breather pipe seals & gaskets (Circa 2700 GBP). Not many other CLS' can boast this level of maintenance. I welcome any questions - thank you - Les
