2004 SEAT LEON CUPRA (GENUINE CUPRA) 1.9 TDI 150
Owned for just over a year, turbo replaced by myself, supplied by AR PERFORMANCE JW1756 with all relevant gaskets + bolts/nuts + braided oil feed. Oil and oil filter replaced at the same time along with cone filter and creation motorsport TIP. Intake manifold decoked with egr fitted and nipple fitted for boost gauge if wanted in the future (currently blanked off). 2x brand new lower control arms fitted along with new rear hand brake cables. Lowered on pro sport lowering springs, 15mm spacers at the rear. Drives well with no knocks and bangs, pulls well but does need mapping to suit EGR + 1756. For an extra 350 I can get this done. Custom mid to rear exhaust with 6x4 tip done by RCF fabrication, Stacks of paperwork including cambelt replacements, services etc etc. MOT due September 2025
Overall good car for the age + mileage, all mods were done by me was completely standard when purchased. Not many genuine cupras left, Good base for someone to give it that extra, no flywheel rattle and underneath is solid. Not your usual mk4 platform that is ruff.
BAD POINTS
-Needs mapping to suit 1756 + EGR delete, man light comes on occasionally due to EGR.
-Front caliper binding, can still be driven.
