Description
REGISTRATION date and plate:
7 March 2002 // CT02LMY (private plates erased in photos)
TENURE and management:
I bought this ML two years ago with 146,345 on the clock, and she has been trouble free robust motoring. As the designated replacement of the G-Wagon, it is a solid 4x4 with masses of life left to live. It is certainly not a frilly Instagram on wheels like many of the indistinguishable SUVs today!!
She has been well invested and cared for, and has enjoyed a new battery, new radiator fan, new power steering pipe, new engine oil and filter and new gearbox oil. And regular valets!
Reputable firm, Broadland Towbar, added a towbar on 21 July 23 for some local lightweight domestic tasks.
APPEARANCE:
Given 23 years of service, she is in splendid condition overall.
The interior is in excellent nick. The leather seats are handsome enough for another half million miles. The carpets are good. All the electronics work; seats, windows, sunroof, radio, multi-disc CD player, navigation!!!!
On the exterior, the paintwork overall is stunning (I think the car was ordered new with the extra, Code 524 Paintwork Preservation) as reflected in the photos. There's a little paint bubbling in the usual places; behind the front wheels and around the boot handle. Otherwise complete with crack in the front bumper (as I found it) and cut out in the rear (towbar).
OVERALL:
An honourable example worthy of the Mercedes silver star.
I'll undoubtedly regret letting her go!!
