Description

Please read the ad before wasting your or my time... CAR WILL NOT BE RELEASED UNTIL NEW CAR ARRIVES 27th FEB This car has been my workhorse for the last few years. I do a bit of a mucky job, so the car is "well loved" - entitled Princesses demanding a pristine showroom condition first car from Mummy & Daddy, look elsewhere The car is tidy, no accidents, but it's an 8 year old car with nearly 70K on the clock. The condition of the car reflects this, so you'll inevitably find a few marks and scuffs - but overall its in good condition. Buyers welcome to find scuffs or marks for themselves, but it won't alter the ridiculously cheap asking price. It's had a new cam belt and water pump as a maintenance job - if you don't buy this one, make sure the one you do go for has had this done as its a 700 quid job and should've been done at this mileage Car failed MOT on two tyres last year but replaced all 4, so good condition with plenty of life left. It's also had the DPF cleaned. Serviced at a local garage every year since I've had it. Prior to that there is no history. MOT and service were done in August 2024. Upholstery average - a combination of muck and McDonalds, but nothing a good deep clean wouldn't sort. Floor mats have definitely seen better days because of the job I do. This'll cost maybe 50 quid, which, just in case you're wondering, won't be knocked off the asking price. Economy good, I get 55+mpg mostly on A roads - it'll be around 45-50 in town. Don't believe the spec that's automatically added on to this advert, you'll never get 80+ mpg unless you only ever drive downhill at 12 miles an hour. The one thing that doesn't work is the aircon. I'm guessing it needs re-gassing but I've never bothered since having the car. Will I reduce the price because of this ? take a wild guess. It'll probably cost around 100 quid. A tidy car in decent but not A1 condition, good mechanical order, offered well below market value to shift it quick - I don't have room to store it at home for weeks without winding my neighbours up. A similar diesel Clio from a dealer will cost around 5500. Its offered at this price with the remaining MOT and will not be freshly serviced. Buy it. Don't buy it. Ask for a reduction in price, phone goes click. And if you're a marketer telling me you've got people waiting for exactly this type of car, tell them they shouldn't be driving if they haven't got fingers to ring me themselves.
